Another of our old hands has found a home. Everyone's favorite low-rider - Mercedes! She didn't generate a lot of interest from adopters in six months at the shelter, but it only takes one family. Mercedes is not going far, she'll be setting up shop in Richmond.

Good luck Mercedes! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out with her, and especially DeAnna who spent so time with Mercedes - plenty of walks, lots of lounging around in Aquatic Park, and weekly BAD RAP classes. Looks like DeAnna is going to be a single girl on the prowl again, maybe looking to hook up with another lucky shelter resident...

beautiful girl! congratulations!
That's wonderful! Really happy for her!
DeAnna, Bella or Wilbur could sure use a dose of BadRap . . . if you are looking. Good job with Mercedes. I am sure the work you did with her helped her to be a more adoptable pittie.
Really, really, really great news!
Hey was just curious if you could recommend some traing tips, have a rednose pittie 1 1/2 little rambunktious.any tips appreciated.
Thanks.
Awww she looks just like the pit bull on True Blood.
She's so cute, and looks like a sweetheart. Someone is very lucky to be taking her home!
You did it Deanna!!! Never give up on a pit bull in need! :)
Yay! I couldn't be happier. I'm sure she's absolutely loving her new situation, with unlimited petting and a house to laze about in...
If her adopters see this - let me know if you ever need a petsitter! I'll be missing her...
Saw her in class a few times, I wondered how someone could pass up that pretty girl...so happy for her!
PS - hope that magic rubs off on your Hercules!
