This daughter/father duo came to our shelter on 1/6/08 via an owner surrender. They quickly became the shelter sweeties with whom everyone wanted to spend time. Both Schoen and Unique were always in high demand by both novice and old time volunteers alike to take out on a walk. In fact Pam & I would make a point to get to the shelter first thing every Sunday to ensure we would be able to take them out! That Sunday stroll became the highlight of our week. Although we all loved taking them out around Aquatic Park, what we wanted more than anything was for them to find a home...8 mos later this finally happened!!!
Both of them struck gold.
Unique (7yrs old) was adopted by a wonderful family...
AND within 1 week after Unique's adoption, her father, Schoen (10 yrs old) was adopted by BACS very own former Volunteer Coordinator, Amelia.
