Scarlett and her pursuit of rope toy tug

Scarlett loves to play with the rope toy.  Here she is sunbathing  with a pretty purple one supplied by a kind volunteer.   Of course, it's most fun when there is another dog holding onto one end so we can play tug.  Hmmm...

Hammy is not doing much, just rolling around on the floor as he's apt to do.

Maybe if I stick it in his mouth he'll get the hint.   So she did.

Dolly and Diesel practice sharing

Dolly and Diesel had a nice visit together today.  They chased balls, shared the balls back and forth and settled down with one ball each for a companionable chew. 

Thursday dog play with the new crew

Lots of new dogs at the shelter right now.   So, Thursday was a day of meet and greets.  Fortunately, most of them were quite successful!

The girls show the new big boys how to play, play, play!

Two new big boys arrived at the shelter this week:  Darryl and Bobaloo.   This was good news for the girls as our other resident male players Alfred and Roger left for BEBHS last week.   Dolly and Scarlett were more than happy to welcome them with some play.

Jeremy and Dolly had a first date today and we're pleased to say they had a ball!

Sunday Sillies with Snowy and Depp

Snowy and Depp had their first walk together on Sunday and they were so playful with each other we took them over to the dog run for some fun.   There was lots of doggie wrestling as you will see below.
