Thursday Doggie Play

Two successful meet and greets today.  Lovely to see.

Two new doggie pairs for play

It was great to have two new successful matches today!   First:  Darryl and Elsa.  When we first introduced Elsa to a couple of other dogs she was a bit shy and unsure how to engage.   Over time she has become more comfortable and has played several times with another long-legged dog Sky who was also "learning how to play."   Today, she met one of the big boys, Darryl, and they managed to find a nice pace together.

Second pair:  Sweets and Harry.   New boy Harry (white dog below) has been quite keen to play.  However, the lady dogs he's been introduced to have been a bit put off by his enthusiasm and high energy presentation.   Yay for Sweets.  She took it in stride and Harry finally got a play date which wore him out a bit.  

C'mon Harry, we're just getting started!   You need to build up your stamina.

Well, Snowy's and Hammy's coats were just a bit less white after today's roll on the floor session.  No matter, lots of good fun was had!

Scarlett loves to play with the rope toy.  Here she is sunbathing  with a pretty purple one supplied by a kind volunteer.   Of course, it's most fun when there is another dog holding onto one end so we can play tug.  Hmmm...

Hammy is not doing much, just rolling around on the floor as he's apt to do.

Maybe if I stick it in his mouth he'll get the hint.   So she did.

Dolly and Diesel practice sharing

Dolly and Diesel had a nice visit together today.  They chased balls, shared the balls back and forth and settled down with one ball each for a companionable chew.
